We are set up to support individuals who wants their own tenancy or home from the age of 17-65 years old. They are then provided support by us which is tailor made to them from a 'Care and Support plan' to help them live as independently and safely as possible. This could be to help with managing money, cooking, personal care, medication, work placements/college or social activities.
People who live in supported living arrangements often live with others in shared accommodations where they share the cost of bills and upkeep of the communal area's. They will have a single occupancy within their room which the support staff at Independent Waves would be expected to help them maintain their tenancy.
A robust referral form will be implemented by Independent Waves to ensure the needs of the person matches the people already living within the home.

One of our main areas of support is transitional care. This is for individuals coming into a supported living setting for the first time or from children's services in to an adult services. /we understand this can be an overwhelming and anxious time for both the person transitioning and their families however we endeavour to ensure that the transition is as smooth as possible.
The transitional services that we provide will be bespoke for each individual. We can provide enabling support as starting point to build everyone's confidence and ensure a smooth transition.
